Season 2 — Polar Storm
ThemeCold & Temperature Survival
Key ResourcesCoal · Titanium Alloy · Rare Soil
GoalKeep Bases Warm, Capture Land
Season 2 is a cold-weather season — survival depends on keeping your base temperature up through blizzards. The work starts now, while we are still in Season 1. Use the prep list below, then follow the first-days plan when S2 opens.
Prep Now (During Season 1)
◆
Buy Violet and universal shards.
◆
Research the Veteran Craftsman alliance tech — it lowers building costs in S2.
◆
Don't spend all your hero return tickets. Save some for the first days of S2 — using them then rewards coal and titanium alloy.
◆
During the Black Market event, buy the Tower of Victory decoration for its S2 temperature bonus.
◆
Stack unclaimed Doom Walker kills from S1 — claiming them after S2 starts gives a bonus coal reward.

First Days of Season 2
1
Buy the season and weekly pass.
2
Have radars stacked for Day 1 — a Distressed Survivor event rewards coal on the first kill.
3
Pick your first dig site to capture. Match the beast type to your squad: Polar Bear = tank weakness, Gorilla = missile weakness, Mammoth = aircraft weakness.
4
Double first blood: hit a 160+ Doom Walker right after the daily reset (end of S1), then hit another 160+ DW after S2 starts — you can claim two first-blood rewards.
5
Upgrade your first Alloy Factory to lvl 15 only. Lvl 15 unlocks the next factory — level each new one to 15 before going higher (up to 4 factories; the 5th comes with the Weekly Season Pass).
6
Build the High-Heat Furnace the moment it's available and keep it running at all times.
7
Keep bases at +40°C early on. Never let them drop below -20°C — below that you cannot start rallies or teleport.
8
Enable "auto-turn on furnace" for blizzards.
9
Use recon planes to heat bases up to 40°C.
10
Get the Engineer profession to lvl 40 to unlock "Intense Overdrive" (+2°C per skill level to furnace overdrive output).
11
Purchase the coal pack.
Staying Warm
Main Ways to Get Heat
◆
High-Heat Furnace in overdrive — burns 4× more coal but heats fast. Use during blizzards only.
◆
Relocate your base within range of the Alliance Furnace.
◆
Recon planes — can heat bases up to +40°C.
◆
Fire Bombs — Engineer seasonal skill, +10°C in a 9×9 area for 5 minutes.
◆
Get closer to captured cities — they provide 5°C to 60°C of warmth depending on level.
⚠
When troops leave your base, you lose heat — keep troops home during blizzards.
Reduce Factory & Furnace Costs
◆
Engineer profession lvl 35 skill: Resource Saving (up to -5% resource consumption).
◆
Alliance tech: Veteran Craftsman (cost reduction on seasonal buildings).
◆
Tech research: Master Craftsman.
Minimum storm survival (no Alliance Furnace): Tower of Victory lvl 3 (+5°C) + Intense Overdrive research (+6°C) = -19°C base temperature — just above the -20°C freeze threshold.
